This movie looks very interesting...
What's explored is the Knights Templar/Freemasons connection to our Founding Fathers and the treasure they hid.
I agree, it looks great.
And before anyone asks, YES, I will be wearing my Reynolds Wrap helmet to the theatre.
I saw the previews. Looks really interesting!! A map in the US constitution...go figure!
Interesting. This is the first time I have heard of the movie. The trailer looks good although I have a hard time believing this movie will finish without somehow painting our founding fathers as money hungry, racist, elitist white men. I am skeptical of pretty much anything that comes from Hollywood these days.
Looks cool. Looks like Sean "Boromir" Bean plays the baddie.
It's just a movie..........
And Saddam Hussein is just a goat herder who is the constitutionally elected president of Iraq.
What does soddam have to do with a kooky movie?
What's your point?
Da Vinci Code, the movie.
Havn't seen it, any good?
To tell you the truth, although I've heard of the book, I don't know much about it.
I try to stick to comedy but I did see "The Village" a couple of weeks ago. Loved it.
My point is that many get upset over movies like The Day After Tomorrow, or Fahrenheit 911 because of the message and politics. I would be willing to wager that 90% of all new movies have some kind of political message leaning severely to the left, designed to preach and bring about social change by establishing "hipness" status throughout the ranks of the younger crowd.
My point is that very few movies these days are "just a movie" any more than Saddam Hussein was just another elected president.
Though appearing innocuous at first, most movies include something - stupid and vulgar attempts at comedy, leftist agenda themes, feminist ideology, homosexuality, racism, historic revisionism, and otherwise poisonous messages that are usually not even necessary to the storyline.
If these messages are not even necessary to the storyline, why are they in the movie at all? They are in the movie to preach leftist sermons to all of society in an attempt to bring about social change. In other words, many of these films are not "just" movies.
Now it would be unfair for me to characterize THIS movie as one of those films without seeing it, but all I was saying is that I would be surprised if there wasn't some kind of message that paints our founding fathers in a negative light.
Oh, ok.
Intersting theory.
I don't agree but I don't see very many new flicks.
"most movies include something - stupid and vulgar attempts at comedy"
I'll agree here, maybe this is why I love the "Police Academy" series?

Right on target.
Fire For Effect.
