Rich Galen (mullings.com) is a long-time regular on the Lee, Melanie, and OV show KSFO (San Francisco).

Galen is a White house insider. He refuses to discuss immigration and has told Lee that he's tired of them beating him up on that issue. When Lee told Mr. Galen this morning that the President's Hispanic support in California is 26 percent Mr. Galen dismissed it saying the aim is to influence Hispanic voters in other states.

"Hispandering" is not working in California and ILLEGAL immigration is off limits for discussion. It's not yet certain yet if our governor will do much more than speak at the convention and say he plans to vote for President Bush -- his wife of course will vote for Kerry and has been active supporting Kerry.

So in this winner-take-all state the Republicans want me to waste my vote? I could send a borders and sovereignty "message" by voting for None of the Above or by writing in Tancredo's name.

Show me you care about California, Republicans, and I won't be wasting my vote by voting for the President. Anyting less than an all-out effort means you support Kerry for president.
