I must be the only person who still thinks that whole thing was strange, given Scott had a missing, pregnant wife.

We thought it was strange but it paled compared to some of the rest of his behavior that he exibited later...
While the international businessmen from Tradecorp were in town, Scott took them to the bar/restaurant of the Red Lion, the same hotel which hosted the search center for Laci. He spent several hours with them in the bar, laughing and socializing, and was heard talking about how he was going to take them on a tour of San Francisco the following day. This was long before his wife's body was found, while the rest of the people were still semi-hysterically running around trying to find her.
There's a lot of strange things about this case, most of it revolving around the behavior of Peterson. For a man who claims he's innocent he sure didn't act like it.
