CTV Jerk lawyer wants Geragos to put Amber on trial for dating married men..or at least imply she isn't credible because of "she's been down this road before"..Anyone who listened to the tapes will not be impressed with that attack.
I agree Meg. May God give Amber wisdom and strength. You know to me, she comes across as very believable and credible. I have even heard several talking heads state that including, Catherine Crier, Nancy Grace and Dan Abrams and Jeff Feiger.
That second thing you said--I believe that's what he will concentrate on. He will make Amber out to be a victim and robot of the EEEVIL BROCCHINI, instead of a victim of sicko Scott Peterson, which is what she really was.
And as for Amber's past relationships, it appears certain that the prosecution has sought to exclude them with its 402 points. Allred was on TV earlier today and as good as confirmed that they were demanding that her previous relationships be excluded, due to lack of relevance.
Which is sort of what I used to try to tell some earlier posters around here, when they'd go all ga-ga about "Amber and Josh and Michelle" and how "Amber went down to the hospital and viewed their baby". I tried to say that that stuff is too far afield of the subject matter of this trial. But they wouldn't listen.
We'll see if, regardless of the judge's ruling, Geragos manages to slip something in. He will not surprise the jury with the "revelation" that Amber dated this Josh guy while Josh's wife Michelle was pregnant--b/c Amber has already told the jury about it in the tapes. Furthermore, she said in her conversations with Scott that Josh and Michelle had gotten married at a drive-thru wedding chapel in Vegas, and she implied that it was a spur-of-the-moment wedding. According to the Amber-Scott phone tape, Josh told Amber about 2 months after the wedding (when his wife was 2 months pregnant) that he wanted to be with Amber and that he was through with Michelle. Wow, sounds like Josh and Michelle were really on firm footing in their marriage until this "homewrecker" entered their poor little lives.
