I may have missed it. Why does Kerry need to authorize the release? It would seem to me that if he was elected by the voters, he is being paid by the voters.

I was telling my husband this story over dinner and noted the same thing, that I don't know why attendance at closed meetings is "classified".

I do know that it was Pat Roberts (R) who said yesterday that Kerry needed to authorize it and Roberts said he should, of course.

And as I noted earlier, today Fox reported that Kerry does not intend to do so. (at this time. who knows if the flip flopper will sing a new tune tomorrow)
