Only a Christian nation, based on biblical principles, would guarantee the individual the freedom and the responsibility to live morally or not, to believe or not, and to produce the fruit of what they believe in their individual lives.

If we established Biblical principles in law, wouldn't that require making homosexuality illegal, outlawing divorce, following the Commandment that bans having any god but the Christian God?

Sorry, I missed your post and wanted to reply. Most Christians believe that government should insure man the freedom to choose. Within social constraints of course. No murder, theft, or behaviour outside the norm.
