Asked if these regular folks fly from one state to another, the husband of the condiment heiress downplayed the cost, saying, "What? 250 bucks for a ticket?"
Is breaking your neck considered fun?
Cosmetic Retouch. He was starting to look dreary again.
You can tell the 'regular' guys who windsurf do it with their hardhats on.
"Once a year I like to do something fun," he said.
Wind surf in Oregon, bike in Colorado, spend Christmas in Cambodia
you know, fun stuff.
"Undeterred by the lack of wind that thwarted his plans to windsurf"
He should have bottled some of it at the convention.
Ta-ray-za wouldn't stand for it any more often than that.
He's pulled his happy hat out for a few days.
"Once a year I like to do something fun," (Kerry) said.
This explains the separate rooms in AZ.
...with fries and cole slaw.
To hear Kerry talk, you'd think a couple of different things:
1. There aren't any plumbers or construction workers out there because they're all unemployed.
2. The few who are unemployed can barely afford bread after paying for their health insurance.
3. Those same few should balk at the suggestion that $250 is too much for a plane ticket to fly cross-country for some kite-surfing.
This guy amazes me more every day.
Kerry on a Roll, LOL!
Who thinks up these headlines.
Are they suggesting Kerry is a "weiner", who supplies his own ketchup?
Unemployed = employed
He's not on a roll. In fact, he's had a rotten week. After his bumpless convention he was forced to backtrack on his Cambodia claims, was cornered by Bush on Iraq, and ridiculed for his "sensitive war" remark by Cheney. He's pretty much missed his golden opportunity to close the sale with the American people. Meanwhile Bush is right where he wants to be just before his own convention.
And didn't he just go windsurfing a few weeks ago? What's with this "once a year"?
Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
I heard that he was griping about the lack of wind in Idaho on Saturday, while millions of people in Florida were surveying the wreckage left behind by Charley. Funny how ABC doesn't bother to mention that, isn't it?
Of course they didn't mention that. I'm surprised they mentioned his stupid remark, but I'm glad they did.
I just wish it was on video.
