I think we best acknowledge that his heroism did gain that recognition," Warner (R-Va.) told CNN's "Late Edition."

We best acknowledge it? Or what? Are you talking to us "little people"?

Thanks but no thanks. I can make up my mind without your instruction Warner.

By the way, were you there? Is your opinion better than the Swift Boat Veterans? You seem to think so. We should listen to John Kerry and you, but not the Swift Boat Veterans? I don't think so.

At any rate, I don't think you've shown alot of great judgement. Would someone with good judgement marry Liz Taylor?

I think what he's saying is that as Republicans, we need to stop rehashing this mess.

There are thousands of reasons to vote aganst Kerry. The more we harp on this, the more people forget the others. We won't win or keep many converts if this is the best we can do.

I have family friends who are vets and are sick of the whole matter. We're turning them off. I hope they aren't representative of the rest of the middle in this county.

We can say "John Kerry can be both a one-time war hero and still very wrong for this country" and I really wish we would.

These quotes are entirely out of context....I heard the interview on C-span. Warner was very sneaky, stating the above quote, but also stating that Kerry should just release all of his military records to clear this up. He said that all the veterans have the same rights to their views. Warner was so on the ball during this interview, I could understand why he's still a senator. He also said that Kerry should release his intelligence meetings attendance records....just to clear this up.
