''The man above you was relieved of duty?
I would like to know if this is true as well. Does anyone know if the "man above him" was relieved of duty and if they were rotating people in as Kerry alleged because there was near mutiny and refusal to follow orders?
On another note, Kerry's final slap, "I wish we could get into the issues," says a lot about him. He seems to believe he can tell any lie or push any propaganda without being called on it.

I never heard anything about that charge about the superior being relieved - I sent it to Drudge, Aloha Ronnie, to latch@swiftvets.com...if anyone knows how to send it to Hannity or Hugh, do it!
Kerry's final slap, "I wish we could get into the issues," is typical, and shows his sneaky debating style - he is familiar enough in debating to time his 'zings' hoping to get the last word in, but O"Neill was onto him like a cat on a rat.
Kerry has spent his whole life trying to best someone who was actually his better - the pressure to maintain this charade for 50 years must be crushing - he must be unaware of it, but a trained professional would no doubt have him on multiple meds, thrice weekly sessions and behavioral therapy.....
a fellow FReeper has already sent a request to another FReeper and may also send off something to Drudge to find this out.
Hmm, that turn of phrase may have some potential.
