"Natural Resources Defense Council"

I always like to parse this name. What does the Council do? It 'defends' Natural Resources. Against what? Exploitation. But a "resource" which cannot be exploited is not a resource at all. If I told you there is a mountain of platinum on Venus, would it be a "resource"? No, because it cannot be exploited. Their goal is to deny human beings--in perpetuity, evidently--the resources they need to survive and prosper. They are another example of the "anti-human" branch of "environmentalism"...which is anti-human to its core.

Yes, and the NRDC's star Lowyer is advising Governor Schwarzenegger to establish another layer of GANG-GREEN GOVERNMENT over the entire eastern 1/5th of CA, called THE SIERRA-NEVADA CONservancy!!!

Of course the Property Rights Terminator just doesn't see this as pandering to the very "Special Interests" he swore to terminate! Go figure!!! I figure he swept up a whole lot of so-called "Conservatives" and "Republicans" along with OUR historic Recall Election and shoved it in our faces!!!

GANG-GREEN and the Demoncrats are doubled over in hysterical laughter right about now. Something they couldn't even keep Gray Davis from vetoing is now going to be signed by the big bad Republican action hero!!!

A council, the way these are set up, is a classic soviet. They usurp authority from the citizens by establishing that they, as stakeholders have rights to tell citizens how they live their lives.

They act under the color of an authority they do not have, yet so many people here are so uneducated about how their constitutional government is supposed to work, they allow these councils to assume unconstitutional authority over them.
