I'm curious, and you're the only one I know to ask -- is Neil Gaiman considered Gothic? What about Anne Rice?

Neil Gaiman isn't particularly Gothic; Death is Gothic. Anne Rice is just considered crazy. :-)

Neil Gaiman's Sandman series is definitely considered Gothic. Some of Anne Rice's stuff is too...but a lot of Goths call her a hack. ;)
