No, it doesn't. That's part of the political ideology of dictators, which we should despise.

I was referring to this case, so spare me the dictatorship crap.

It's the leftie's job to compare the Administration to dictators..e.g Hitler.

So yes, I think Bush should go the extra mile in Florida. First, because it's the right thing to do. Secondly, earning extra votes would be a good thing.

If it's opportunistic, so be it. The end justifies the means this time.

He's already approved disaster funds. What more is there to do? What means are justified? You want the president to STEAL money to give it to Florida? Authorize a military takeover of foreign oil fields to provide income for Florida?

These are ridiculous ideas, but when you say the end justifies the means, that is a non-exclusive statement. You DO understand that and its implications, don't you?

I mean, if the end, getting President Bush re-elected, justifies the means "in this case," then after this where would you draw the line? It's a slippery slope.

When you deal with the devil, the deal never ends where you think it should.
