Because of a similar experience, I deal with Amazon.com only! I find them extremely dependable.

I tried to get it at my local Barnes and Noble in Beverly Hills, and was told "we don't have any of those", after looking it up in the computer (and acting as if they never heard of it).

I declined their offer to place an order for it, and they seemed pleased when I said "I'll just get it from Amazon, thank-you".
