A little more than three decades ago, a young man named John O'Neill served his nation aboard a swift boat in Vietnam. Today, the mild-mannered and eloquent attorney from Texas is serving his nation again.
O'Neill and the book UNFIT FOR COMMAND have become the biggest nightmare in the Kerry campaign as the campaign tries to fool Americans into actually making a totally unqualified man the commander in chief.
From James Carvile to Lanny Davis to the rest of the hacks in the liberal media, O'Neill is being pummeled as a stooge of President Bush.
Let the word go forth that week after week after week after week, the DemocRATS have told lie after lie after lie after lie. O'Neill is no Bush stooge. In fact, he has not voted for the Republican candidate for president since 1988. Much to the chagrin of his wife, in 2000, JOHN O'NEILL VOTED FOR AL GORE! (source: Hugh Hewitt interview with O'Neill, 8-14-04)
O'Neill and the rest of the approximately 240 men who served with and around him, have come forward and, in many cases, put their jobs on the line to warn Americans of the phony that is the DemocRATic nominee for the presidency.
Godspeed, John O'Neill. You can count on the FReepers to back you 100% in this effort. Thank you yet again for answering your nation's call.
Welcome.
The 'party faithful' won't believe anything presented to them, they'll claim it's fabricated or someone else's fault.
And yes, undecideds may look at facts and make informed decisions.
(Though in my area I'm not so sure! Just recently heard a woman at the DMV scream that she shouldn't be expected to actually have to READ anything before applying for her driver's license.)
*chuckle*
Have fun, happy FReeping.
Just as long as my typo doesn't end up in FR lore like 'stuned' and 'beeber' it'll be great.
;-)
Maybe Dubya will follow in the footsteps of the 1st President George W. that won unanimous (electoral college) elections.
Oh yes, Washington was his last name.
Stay Strong
Fuzzy
Sorry, but!
TALKING PINTS is too good to let go.
You're in the historical category now.
Question is; will you be remembered?
Probably not.
*chuckle*
Which will be a good thing, trust me.
He also voted against Nixon, which freaked both Nixon and the left out. He also stated that if Edwards had won the nomination he would vote for Edwards for President. This is what makes his book virtuous...he has known exactly what Kerry will do and say to win for 33 years.
>>> He also voted against Nixon, which freaked both Nixon and the left out ... This is what makes his book virtuous
I'm late to the party ... but ...
O'Neill WORKED for Nixon, was recruited by Colson. He clerked for Bill Rehnquist. And he gave money to Bush's father in '92. He can talk about how he voted for Perot, Gore, McGovern or whoever all he wants, but it is complete bull considering his track record with the GOP. Every time the guy has ever given money in a federal election it has been to a Republican.
I am all for putting a little something out there when it cannot be disproven (i.e., a vote) but this one doesn't pass the smell test. No libs are being won over by that and they don't believe it.
Jeez, and you'd think that Dan Rather would have mentioned this.
(crickets chirping)
He didn't, did he?
