An FCC that fines DJs, national panic over exposed boobs, firing people over T-shirt comedy...As America moves right, must it also become humorless and puritanical?

The Puritans were a very thoughtful bunch. We could do with some of their influence in today's 'anything goes' society. As far as America moving to the right, I don't think you see anyone on the boob tube or radio curtailing much of what they say. Hollywood and Broadway are cranking out the garbage quicker than society can gobble it up, homosexuality is no longer considered aberrant behavior, on the contrary it's now considered by many to be just as legitimate a form of sexual expression as heterosexuality. And if that's not enough, the Democrats are putting forward their second traitorous candidate for the presidency and we still have women killing their unborn children in record numbers, so don't fret, we're still slouching towards Gomorrah.
