No presidential candidate (to the best of my knowledge, at any rate) has EVER won office on a platform of: "
You have too damned much money. Give it to us. NOW."
This just needs to be hammered and hammered and hammered into the electorate, IMHO.

Common sense. Of course Kerry will stick the middle class with tax increases. Then again common sense appears to be a quality in short supply in a country surfeited on a diet of class envy.

He's a socialist democrat, raising taxes is a given.

Kerry contends that Bush's assertions about the size of spending increases are gross exaggerations and the Democrat denies the middle class would be stuck with the tab. Kerry also said a Christmans in Cambodia was SEARED into his memory, but on second though it was probably in January? SURE.
John Kerry actually will support tax cuts, before he actually raises your taxes.

Kerry is the richest person in the history of the senate and paid something like $100,000 in taxes last year. To pay for his $2.2 trillion in New Spending, it would require DOUBLING the taxes on 22 MILLION people like Kerry.

Democrats are people who want to take away their neighbors money. They like bossing their neighbors around and a big way to do that is "take their money by raising taxes". How about leaving honest people alone? Taxes are already plenty high enough to fund the legitimate functions of government.
My message to the Democrats, "keep your hands off of other peoples honestly earned money".
As for Kerry and his wife and their estimated 900 million to 3 billion worth of wealth. They don't worry about taxes because they use tax avoidance techniques that shields their wealth from taxation. For example, as a low estimate Kerrys wife is worth 1 billion (or 1000 million) dollars. If you earned just 5% on that money you would have an income of $50 million. But they have the money sheltered. Heinz-Kerrys declared income was only 5 million last year. They want everybody else to pay higher taxes while they shelter themselves from taxation. Maybe they think it will be easier to get houshold help is everyone else is poorer.
