The average age in Punta Gorda is 61, the average age in Port Charlotte is 52.

Mostly retirees. Not much need for abortion clinics in this area. None exist that I know of. Maybe in Fort Myers (30 miles to the south), but not in Charlotte county.

PuntaGorda

This mill was not that far from the Peace River, so I don't think 30 miles is the distance.

While most if not all of us agree with your pro-life position -- use some common sense, this post is about a devastated area and many of us have friends and family in the area-or are from the area. Our main focus is on the current state of affairs down there, and how people are coping.

Now is not the place or time for your political screed.

The mill is less than a mile from the Caloosahatchee River in the Fort Myers area, so I am very wrong about it being near the Peace River.

I do not mean to attack Punta Gorda or Port Charlotte, but I am outraged about what this mill Fort Myers does.

And there will be many tragic stories that come out of this storm -- but no one hears the Silent Scream of the unborn.

So, you think God sent the hurricane to destroy abortion clinics? And, what, His aim was off and so some other people got killed? Now, really, don't you think He's just a bit more exact?

And do you try to tie all natural disasters into some form of punishment from God?

Oh, and before I forget: Does God like, send you a telegram to tell you what He did, and why He was destroying something?

I'm sorry, I know this is not a very nice post, but your all-encompassing knowledge regarding God offends me. If He gave us free will, why would He go to such extremes to make us do what He wanted?
