I'll bet Bill Clinton is somewhere thinking, "Damn, why couldn't that hurricane have hit while I was president?" Andrew hit Florida in early September 1992 which was just two months prior to the presidential election. The national press used the aftermath to clobber President Bush (41) and make him look out of touch.
