Bush has got to be seen doing. The media can't hide that. W should meet with local officials in a prominent way to take input. Plan action. Maybe even a Q and A format.
Bush just can't sit there and wait for the partisan media to take him apart.
There was a CNN babe-ette just on starting the whine ... Why is it taking so long. It's only been 12 hours since landfall, power was off and water was everywhere, emergency crews could not operate. Didn't matter one bit.
The media is simply moving the goal posts up in time.
