Kerry to bring down energy costs. Hmm, isn't he the dude who wants to add a 0.50 gasoline tax?

Absolutely right. I have long been posting that The President should get ahead of the problems at the pumps. He managed to dodge the bullet by flagging Kerry's vote for the 50 cents a gallon tax but that is not enough.

We should make it clear to America that the democrats and especially Kerry have led us into this state of affairs because they are driven by their own dogmatism and mindless hatred of oil.

This is one of the three issues, or more accurately one of the three or four "events", which Bush cannot get behind of and still win. The other events are a strike against the homeland or a catastrophe in Iraq or a market crash.
