Stacks of bodies? I doubt it.
My heart and prayers to all those who suffered. However, I cannot help but muse that I must have caused this (sarcastic sniff). I've been planning a trip to Florida THIS weekend for a year now.
All levity aside, this one seems like a horrible disaster. I hope our Florida Freepers are well and safe.
"I doubt it."
Based on . . . ?
Precisely the phrase that's being used on FoxNews to report the devastation at this trailer park and in Punta Gorda.
Prairie
According to Fox, Punta Gorda has asked for 60 body bags. That may not be the number of dead, but it certainly woudl be an indicator of a large loss of life. One mobile home park had 100 units and no one can get to it, but bodies are seen lying outside.
I hope this is not as bad as it is shaping up to be.
That's exactly what they've been saying most of the night and this morning.
Local news reports that officials are bringing in several refrigerator trucks. Doesn't sound good.
And you're an expert in dealing with the aftermath of hurricanes I suppose.
Fox news just interviewed a hospital official who said there were 100 to 150 DOAs last night. And that's not counting the stacks at the trailer parks.
Believe it. It's worse than that. We don't need the phone lines tied up right now with calls from the north. This is worse than Andrew.
Why?
