This country is going to self destruct with political correctness, everyone getting offended to the point of SUING someone, and the general socialist/liberal nonsense of the day. Oh come on. The woman didn't sue because she was insulted. She wasn't allowed to fly because of her handicap. That was wrong. The insult was wrong. The airline employee was wrong. She at least deserves to be compensated for the trip and for the extra airfare of the second person. I'm against silly lawsuits, but the insult to this woman was over the top and it didn't just hit her in the ego. It hit her in the pocketbook as well.

Insult aside; this woman clearly could not have imagined or anticipated anything else; but a refusal to board that plane.
'Equal treatment' allows that this silly lawsuit was brought about by a more than 'silly', woman. Silly and wily. . .makes more sense.

I agree she should be compensated for her extra travel expenses, but not for the suffering aspect.
This should have never reached the court, Air France would have been wise to just pay the lady's expenses and fire their nasty employee.
