I know a couple--the office HR lefty, a Russian co-worker (he's more of a communist than a lib'ral--some interesting conversations with him), and a SF lib'ral friend of mine.

I had a frank conversation with the SF lib'ral a month ago about the presidential election. He said that he and his lib'ral friends think Kerry would be a horrible president, but they hate Bush more.

Have you ever asked them why they hate Bush ..?? You might be able to make some inroads if you can give them evidence contrary to what they have heard.
