Let's see:
My twin brother the liberal teacher (rest of my family is Republican).
My office receptionist - a lifelong Democrat voter who can't give you a single reason why.
My neighbor across the street - a nice guy retiree (rest of my neighborhood is pro Bush).
Give me time. I might be able to find one. But, then again, politics is very personal to me so I don't usually associate with anyone who would vote for Kerry. But ther ARE some relatives of mine who can be counted on to support anyone to the left of Karl Marx.
This thread was dead for 6 weeks, take your time.
And I STILL can't think of anybody.
You got 6 weeks to find someone, after that, forget about it. I know one person voting ABB :)
one for Kerry and about 30 - 40 for Bush.
About 7 people..and no..their minds can't be changed. They hate Bush and will vote for Gallagher the comedian before Bush.
I know a few and believe they would vote against Jesus if he were a Republican. Koolaid drinkers will believe anythink from the DNC. Truth doesn't matter to a democrat.
As far as I am concerned anyone who would vote for Kerry is doing the people of this country a disservice. Inflicting Kerry on anyone is a disaster. Any man who sees himself as royalty and expects not to be questioned on any subject has a mental problem. The man is unhinged and needs help. I also think he has a substance abuse problem and the press is helping to cover it up.Of course this is just my observation and I am no expert.
Are you neutral on all sin? If so, what is the point of being a teacher, preacher, leader? Obviously I'm missing something here.
lol!
Kerry said he wouldn't let anyone collect more SS than they paid in, well most people pay in average of 85000, so if in 70's they have probably collected all of that already. Kerry would cut them off, or in case of new SS checks they would get only about 80% of what they are now getting...could they live on that?
There are other threads on that with figures and percentages, might want to look it up on FR...someone else posted details.
3 for sure: Two of whom are lesbians, and their brother, a recent college grad who thinks my husband and I are radical right-wingers. Their other sister is also a strong possibility for Kerry.
These are my sister's kids; she tries to avoid political discussions with me...I'm not sure for whom she is voting.
Technically, I don't think I know any, because any liberals we know seem to be voting against Bush rather than for Kerry. They might pull the lever for Kerry, but they don't like him. Our ex-neighbors, for example, and my husband's boss I think - LG, any thoughts? Have you run across anyone in your liberal profession who says they actually LIKE Kerry as opposed to hating Bush?
I have come across no one who feels that sKerry would make a good CIC. Only those who hate Bush.
