I've met so many people who have claimed to be former VN Vets; all have stories about "the Nam". It only takes a minute (literally 1 minute) to out them. Kerry was in VN, but the crowd he hung with in VVAW were a mix. Their war stories fit their agenda. Real vets chat together about guys they knew and their peccadilloes; who owed them $ from lost card games and where those guys are now (Hey, there's interest accumulating!) and the girls they knew.
