Here are the positives that the swiftboat vets have achieved already:

1. The Kerry campaign is off-message, distracted, and having to call in DNC operatives and other hacks.
2. The Kerry campaign has had to call in chits with the media before it wanted to -- will hurt them later
3. It undermines the basic theme of the campaign -- war hero
4. It drives up Kerry's negatives
5. It lays the foundation for what is to come next -- Kerry's anti-war activities and the assault on his Senate record.

I have been saying what you said for several days now, but you really wrap it up with a ribbon and bow.

Kerry is on the defensive and this is only the beginning. He has lost thye Vietnam war, and now the focus will be on his Senate record.

In case you didn't hear Rush the last couple of days, he was saying he has been told by several "well known" media people that there's already quite a few of them who are beginning to realize this stuff about Kerry may be true.
