sure thanks for asking.. 7 minutes = w gathering thoughts. 37 minutes = kerry unable to think. both durations in reference to aftermath of second tower being struck on 9-11-01

perhaps i could find some illumination why voicing other than strict fr dogma gets one insulted.

When you walk into a room full of strangers and start on them you get attention fast

Dude (dudet?) while I am reluctant to speak for others, I think you are mistaking genuine curiosity about your tag line, for an insult. I think it was more of a compliment.

Or maybe I am misunderstanding your replay

Good, thanks for answering.

Newcomers often come under suspicion, rightly or wrongly. We do get lots of trolls. Best thing is to grow a thick skin, and be polite to old-timers, even if they snap at ya.

You have been hit a bit hard here today. Potentially cryptic taglines and relatively recent registrations can cause some suspicion, please don’t take it too personally.

In an earlier post I said I might have misunderstood your response to the administration moderator. I think I did. I think you were asking a question separate then the administration moderator’s question about your tag line.

Sometimes people here type before they think, that does not mean they are bad people – just occasionally silly. I do not exempt myself from that, I wish I could.

I usually don’t make personal appeals – in fact I think this is the only time I have – but as I said, you were hit relatively hard for someone who was not overly obnoxious. Welcome to Free Republic and I hope you stick around.

haps i could find some illumination why voicing other than strict fr dogma gets one insulted.

The easiest way to answer your question is for you to go back to your first posts and see that you came on strong, almost hateful, and that is the surest way to receive return fire. I have voiced many opinions that caused a few to question my adherence to the "line" but they were always intelligent, thoughtful posts. My advice, try making non snide comments and see how nice FR posters really are.
