Is that good or bad?????
Bad. Lower pressure = stronger storm
It's bad.
That is bad, lower pressure, higher winds.
pressure drop is bad - its a sign of strengthening.
That's bad. The lower the barometric pressure, the stronger the hurricane.
Bad...it means the storm is bombing, i.e., getting stronger.
thanks for the link.
This is amazing.
THat is bad..it translates into strengthening. THey had 145 MPH winds at 965 MB, and are now reporting 946 MB... If this does not get on land fast it could concievably hit Cat 5 before it does. A 946 pressure is usually equated to a CAT 5.
Bad.
That's bad!
Dropping is strengthening, IIRC.
I don't know a whole lot about huricane ..
But I do know that is bad
I was watching the History last week .. they said the lowest pressure on record was the huricane that hit in Galveston Texas in 1900
