No - thank God for sure - this is no Fran. But it could be a Floyd. Floyd only had 40 MPH winds or so here and trees came down all over the place.....due to the soggy ground - just like now. I hope it's not even a Floyd - but there is also the danger of tornadoes - which as you know already came through NC taking lives - from Bonnie and/or a front coming through.

Yes, I imagine the stores around have no milk, no bread, and no water. Although some may be just saying, "Ho Hum" and not worrying about it. I hope it flies through and does little or no damage.

A pond near me is almost over the road - and into some houses. I expect that to happen soon. In fact some neighbors who back up to the pond have left. I'm glad they did.

Hubby just got back from the store and said the normal "staples" were fully stocked, the store wasn't terribly crowded adn folks were just ding normal Saturday shopping.

I went out to get some lunch around 11:00 this morning. There wasn't a lot of traffic, and the local supermarket parking lot looked pretty full, but not "Oh My God A Hurricane is Coming" full. We've got enough in the house to tide us over, so I didn't stop there. I did some shopping Thursday after work.
