It's a little cooler after dark, but if it slows down (instead of speeding up) then it will definitely get back up a Cat or two.

Probably not.
It is going very fast.
However, overnight usually produces at least a temporary intensification.250
It WILL be a hurricane at landfall....I think probably cat 2.
