We had several close calls last year. My husband got tired of boarding up and down. The back patio window still covered. He refused to remove it until the Christmas tree came down. I got around to it in April. He said he might as well wait til this season over now:'(. We are building storm shutters)
Eye is just about over the Atlantic beaches now, heading northeast..

ROFL!!! Have you considered putting up a concrete wall where the patio window is--and painting a nice scenery mural? You could paint a new one for the different seasons, or world class destinations... The possibilities are endless. It could be a mood wall, and functional too.
