See, if I would live in Florida (and I might for a couple years to get the expeience just despite the horrid humid summers with awful bugs), I would live inland a couple hours from the ocean. It would just be a bit of a drive to get to the beach.

There is no coupla hours from the ocean in Florida. I can be in Tampa in 2 hours (or less) from the east coast. This is the price we pay every so often. If this sucker exits Daytona, I am in for a looooonnng nite! One hour south of there. No wind or rain right now.

It only takes me 2 hours to DISNEY,1hour and 45 minutes to get to Palm Beach Gardens,another 10 minutes to the beach. One problem is that once you discover the area,and move there you tend to run your mouth and then others move there. Then it does not seem so wonderful with the sprawl that comes with the territory.
