For what its worth, I am about 15 miles north of Tampa. Absolutely nothing so far - no rain, no wind, nothing. I'll post if I hear anything of note on local TV (as long as I can!). Good luck.

I was just checking the latest aircraft recon reports....the maximum winds have not changed, but the pressure has dropped another 8 mb, now at 946 mb. That's lower than Isabel when it hit last year.

Jim Cantore on the Weather Channel was talking to someone who was planning on riding the storm out in his boat anchored in Fort Myers harbor.

To: mystery-ak
Nothing new since that NBC affiliate interviewed a guy who was riding it out on Sanibel.
To: commish
Could it be turning into a CAT 5?
