I was upstairs getting the kids dressed and half-listening to the radio. When he started talking about this, his voice changed tone and he seemed to get more personal and serious, so I tuned into him. Suddenly I found myself thinking Rush was about to come out of a closet himself!

I would have been more shocked to hear him say he was gay than I was with the drug addiction, and I was pretty shocked back then.

There must be something more than just having an addiction. That is sort of living a lie, yes, but it's not "who Rush is." He kept saying that at some point you have to come out and BE WHO YOU REALLY ARE. Is Rush's true identity an oxycontin addict? That can't be it.

What totally second life could Rush have? Is he actually a liberal???? ROFL. Maybe he did have an affair. Who knows. I can't imagine him gay, no matter how many snide anti-women comments he makes. I always assume his anti-women comments are meant for a specific woman who used him and did him wrong.
