PING to sad news.
Child was such a remarkable woman - an intelligence agent during WW2, and a world-renowned chef. Such a range of ability.
We won't see her like again soon.

Bless the woman for her little-known work for the OSS during WW II.

I admit to being a huge Julia Child fan and I own enough of her cookbooks to prove it. I had the pleasure of meeting her years ago at a food convention. She had real class, was very personable and wonderful to talk to.
I'm glad she had such a good and long life.

Save the liver...
She was great, watching her argue with Jaques Chepan (sp?) was hilarious.
