"I have always disliked "freeping" on-line polls BUT DU and other sites are really into it and there is a certain logic to it. It sets perceptions in some minds when you see Kerry wining those polls on a consistent basis. I can't believe I am advocating this but hell let's freep some polls."

Thanks Texasforever, PERCEPTION IS EVERYTHING. I believe we can influence perception without sacrificing our honor.

Bob I am not sure what you have in mind but I think you would agree that there are many of us that feel the same as you. I have used FR for many years as a fun way to debate the issues but now it is time to decide how we can use this fabulous group of people to really make a difference. If you have a specific strategy in mind then put it together and I for one will spend the 6 or 7 hours a day I spend here actually helping. Here is what I would suggest. Take a day and outline your thinking. Consult with some of the other heavy hitters like Tonk and Kristin and come back with a new thread asking for comment and then we have a roadmap to follow. Create the plan and the work the plan.
