ISSA TO HOST TOWN MEETING ON IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT ISSUES WITH ASA HUTCHINSON
VISTA, CA Congressman Darrell Issa will host a town meeting featuring Asa Hutchinson, Under Secretary for Border and Transportation Security on Friday, August 13 for a discussion focusing on immigration enforcement efforts. The meeting will take place at 10:30 a.m., PT in the all-purpose room of Margarita Middle School in Temecula.
Congressman Issa strongly supports operations conducted by the Border Patrol Mobile Patrol Group, which during the first half of June resulted in 422 apprehensions of illegal aliens by twelve Border Patrol Agents. Congressman Issa and Under Secretary Hutchinson will discuss issues surrounding immigration enforcement and answer questions from the audience. For more info, click here.
Please keep it civil and don't give the other side any quotes or pictures that could be used against you. On the other hand, if you see people from the other side waving Mexican flags or similar, by all means take pictures and post them.
You might want to visit fairus.org and print out overviews to be handed out to members of the press.

Even if there's not enough room, KFI will be setting up speakers *outside* so anyone who can't get in is able to hear the event as it unfolds.
Also, there's been a suggestion this might be an event where Asa will only get pre-cleared questions on 3x5 cards. John & Ken plan to twart any "staged" PR scam by Asa by shouting out questions. Whatever it takes to get actually answers to meaningful questions on the INS interior sweeps, border control, etc.
Do not forget to bring your brooms!!!
Start the sweeps!!! Start the sweeps!!! Start the sweeps!!!
Just like the NHL Playoffs
I hope and pray that Hutchinson will be met by a group of knowledgeable Freepers armed with the facts. It's time for them to answer the tough questions and stop the spin.
Wish I could be there but i'm already committed to do a job in Escondido tomorrow.
More Bush administration pandering to the illegals no doubt.
Hutchinson has no answers or solutions. He just flaps his jaws.
Most everyone knows, he and others like him *are* the damn problem.
But you're Republicans! You can't be mad at me, are you blind? I've got an 'R' in front of my name. Be silent, listen to how great of a job we are doing, and get back to bashing the Democrates.
We can talk about any thing about this "out of control" border situation you little, insignificant people wish to talk about, except prosecution of employers who use illegal workers. I have some very good friends who do that, they're good friends, and they fight against those dasterdly DemoNCratEs and they give a lot of money to the campaigns, so unless you want the Dems to get that money, you'll just be dazzled by this shiney pen in my other hand...look over here!
No, there's more important things to talk about then Cheap Labor...just look at the glittering light, see how it sparkles?
I wonder if Asa will be wearing his "I'm with Stupid" tee shirt?
Ta da!
Your welcome. Now lets all forget our troubles, and have a nice bowl of strawberry ice cream.
Good luck to all of you. I don't think this will do any good as Bush has made up his mind regarding Mexico.
One of the big issues in Mexico today is their failed SS system. If they can't keep their own SS system afloat, why should the American taxpayer have subsidiZe them when our own system is heading towards the tank? Don't let him get away with, this is the money that Mexicans have put into the system. The first article stated it would cost American taxpayers as estimated $105 million a year.
POLITICAL HUMAN SACRIFICE TOUR!
What were John and Ken saying about raising Joe Scarboroughs audience to record heights when they were on?
DONT EVER THINK THESE GUYS DONT HAVE POLITICAL CLOUT.
If Asa does his 3x5 card routine, I am sending this movie to him via Amazon.
Someone should ask him if he thought he violated the Constitution when he used Federal money to travel around the US during the last election cycle to thwart state ballot initiatives to let States decide their own marijuana laws.
I would also like to know if the former Drug Czar plans to use the same, failed techniques he used to fight the drug war to combat illegal immigration.
Someone please remind Asa that trying the same failed techniques over and over (and wasting billions of dollars in the process) isn't just idiocy, it's criminal when you violate the US Constitution.
John and Ken KFI Bump!
Of course it's criminal. They know damn well what ever they are doing, isn't working. The solutions are many, but they are clearly not interested in real solutions. That would go against their not so secret agenda.
That movie is great.
LOL, they are calling it their "Human Political Sacrifice". -And it is working...
