Bet you Kerry had an R & R coming in January and because none of the Swift Vets was with him he will say he went to Cambodia then.

No Way! Kerry would have to have 6 or more months in-country to earn an R&R.

Actually someone claiming to have been commander of PCF 71 says he was in an out of Cambodia during that period. But he says he wasn't ORDERED into Cambodia. This is getting fishy in so many ways.

Apparently there is a river or canal system that does parallel the border and crosses the border is some places.

What this does NOT do is support the "seared" memory of being illegally ordered into Cambodia on Christmas.
