Newer irons are also coated with teflon and can also kill pet birds.
And I'm wearing a shirt with teflon it. Its great in that I can typically pull it out of the dryer and not have to iron, and if I do its one quick pass and its perfectly done.
Downside is that oil based stain (like salsa) are near impossible to get out.

The only time they came out wrinkled was when I overloaded the dryer.
