Typically recessive genes such as sickle-cell anemia serve some purpose that continues to perpetuate them. There is no conceivable explanation for the origination of a homosexual gene or its perseverance.

I'm beginning to think that homosexuality is a mental disease. I watched Shogun on DVD, saw the interview with Richard Chamberlain where he says he got "dolled up" for the role of Blackthorne. Actually, what they did was masculinize him. Yet, in his warped perceptions, he called it being "dolled up". That's when I realized that homosexuality is a mental disease. They relate wrongly to the concept of male and female. They see everything opposite to what is. One more reason to not let mentally ill people make a mockery of marriage.
