Only out of concern for his health. I hope he'll be around for many years to come, but, still. Alzhiemer's is no way for anyone to go.

I know personally know how horrific Alzheimer's is. We wouldn't let a dog die that way. Not only is it rough on the victim, it is horrible for the family.
Hope they find a cure for it some day.
