I used to watch MST3K and am surprised to learn this. The show's humor was skewed heavily to the Left, and this guy was the head writer (though I always preferred him to Joel, who struck me as a real lefty, though I could be wrong).

It's too bad that so much humor is skewed to the Left. There's really no need for them to have a monopoly.
