health Care costs so much because John Edwards likes to sue doctors. Now doctors have to pay HUGE insirance premiums, in order to practice medicine. This has Drove helth care up in 2 ways, the patients bills are now higher to offset the higher insurance premiums, and since some doctors have been ran out of business because they cant afford the insurance we now have a lack of competition in the field.

What I want to tell these people is I only have America. That is the last capitalist place on the planet. If I wanted free helthcare I would move to Canada, or for that fact, almost anywhere, in a heartbeat. I couldn't have my guns, my taxes would be ridiculous, I couldn't buy or build a home where I wanted without an enviro impact study, I couldn't worship as I please because my preacher would be guilty of hate speech, unemployment would be aprox 10%, my life would just be a tangled mess of one bureaucratic mess after another.

America is it! There is no other and if we loose it, there will be no other. Go to Switzerland, Norway, Canada, France, you name it, and get your utopia, but leave me alone!

Canada speaks English in most places and you get the nirvana of socialised meds. It's beautiful country! Just don't go if you have anything tougher than the flu. They cross the border for that stuff. If you need heart surgery, good luck. An MRI? Maybe in a couple of months after you drive to another province. I think they have single digit MRI's in Canada, like 5-6. If I wanted socialism, I could throw a dart at the globe and go there. This is all I have to live for is America.
