What we need is to allow insurance companies and customers to be able to mold a policy to fit each individual. We need to stop the crazy lawsuits, mandates and regulations that harm doctors, companies and especially patients. We need less government interference and intrusion into the healthcare system.
We also need to turn health insurance, for the most part, into something like a 401K. People need to have a personal stake in going to the doctor. Got the sniffles? Gonna cost ya to waste the doctor's time, not gonna be able to bill it to some generic company and forget it. Health has been missing the real free market for too long, which is why costs have skyrocketed.
