It was certainly WARM, but it was also LOUD!! I wondered if President Bush had earplugs. I have never heard the coliseum so loud.

The local TV channels covered it fairly well with Channel 12 interviewing a Kerry campaign worker complaining that her ticket was lifted once they recognized her. Too bad. :)

Mention of the U.N. drew a round of boos. Bush pledged to never let American defense be dictated by foreign powers. This got people on their feet.

Bush said that Kerry, the anti-war candidate had finally gotten around to agreeing that we should have gone into Iraq. Kerry admitted this just this week and 200+ days after he stated that we shouldn't have gone into Iraq.

Bush: "I'm glad that my opponent finally has supported my decision"

"However, there's still 84 days left before the election and plenty of time for him to change his mind again!"
