I was really getting concerned because I was opening the absentee ballots, and helping do the reconciliation (when someone votes for 2 instead of 1, or used pen instead of pencil, new ballots are filled out at the courthouse so those votes are not lost), there were a lot of gore votes. Being in TX, there were more than I expected. Of course, W won our county, but I was worried for awhile. I worked until after 10, when most of the ballots were in and counted, so I missed a lot of the tv stuff - stayed up most of the night watching it.
Just because the article suggests that the criteria are "dubious" doesn't mean I believe it. 99% of the time this stuff that the Left dredges is up is easy to blow out of the water with some easily accessible facts. So far, I have not found anything to counter what is being alleged.
*bump* to your inability to find what you are seeking (Next post, may I fairly assert that you are unable to perform research, and leave you to prove that I am wrong? If not, why not?)
I have researched it, and it is like drinking water from a fire hose. Specifically, I am trying to find out what was the strongest PURPORTED evidence implicating Clay Roberts of hanky panky in how he managed the whole database criteria selection question.
You seem to be suggesting that this is a relatively simple task. I welcome you to demonstrate your superior research skills and put me in my place by finding the information I am looking for.
Maybe a "pay for" consultant can help you.
I pull out that book when liberals start whining. My favorite part is where the FSC decision was vacated by a 7-0 USSC decision.
Even Gore's old buddy, Stephen Breyer, couldn't hold with the FSCourt.
WARNING: The liberals want to make the USSC another FSC.
I'd be VERY interested to know how many of the ''supreme seven'' in Nov-Dec 2000 in FL are stll on the bench.
Florida FReepers, would you please advise?
TIA, and go, panhandle, go!

Great summary at 121. Sure brings back more than a little rage at the Rats...
Re#146 Yep. Activists courts is all they got. This election is so important...
