Love the context. Arguing against aid to the Contra's because it would lead to a deeper American involvement ( against his friends the Sandanista's). Of course the first chance the people of Nicaraugua got to vote on the issue ( forced by the Contra rebellion ) they tossed the Sandi's out on their ear. This guy Is ALWAYS on the wrong side of the issues.
