I'm coastal in Hudson, but on high ground - level D. I've been outside trying to see the meteor shower - the sky is so clear and bright here, it's almost like a warning.
They keep waiting for that storm to turn. Hasn't turned yet, that means we're getting hit harder because we are on the right. But being it's put off turning this long, it can still put it off longer - maybe hit the panhandle.
Looks like we are in for it if not. The stores should be a zoo this am, so my boys went out for stuff last night. A few weeks ago a tree service demossing my tree dropped a branch on my rain gutter and bent it badly - its a waterfall each time it rains. Guess what my sons are doing today?
Worst case for this storm would be a direct hit on the heavily populated Tampa/St. Pete.
Good thing you have the boys to help with preparations.
Too funny! My next door neighbor and his buddies just took their boat out fishing. Boys will be boys.
