I married a Democrat and he voted for Al Gore in 2000. yes we canceled each other out. But after 9/11, (and much brow-beating from his lovely wife!) he saw the light and now is voting for Bush.
He was always a conservative Democrat (from Georgia) but 9/11 finally pushed him to the right way.
At least half of Georgia democrats are Republican at heart - they just haven't figured it out yet!
