Sorry, but I wouldn't marry a woman that I didn't trust with my money. My kids (or future kids) are more important than my money as well. Why don't they deserve more consideration than the money?

I take my marriage vows seriously. I did so before God.

If there are doubts about the money then there should be doubts about the marriage. The only doubts should be on your end, will I fail them, not will they fail me. If you're already concerned about the other's failures, they aren't the right person to make a life long commitment with.

Personally I'd say your friend has some "issues" if he feels the need to marry someone 20 years younger than himself. A major red flag to begin with.

Unless, say, he's 55, she's 35, and he needs to go at least that low just to have the tiniest possibility of a fertile womb.
